Linda Davis Taylor is the CEO and Chairman of Clifford Swan Investment Counsel in Pasadena, California. A participant in a fourth generation family business, Linda is a frequent speaker on wealth transition, family governance, and philanthropy.
Linda became CEO and Chairman of Clifford Swan Investment Counsel in 2010, after serving as President of Philip V. Swan Associates since 2002. Clifford Swan is the nation’s oldest investment advisory firm In addition to managing the firm, she advises clients on wealth transition, family governance, and philanthropy.
Her prior experience also includes twenty-five years in senior management positions in philanthropy and admissions for several distinguished educational institutions, including Amherst College, Claremont McKenna College, Scripps College and Emory University.
Linda is currently a trustee of Scripps College in Claremont, California, and served as Chairman of the Board from 2009-2014. She is a member of the Board of Directors of San Pasqual Fiduciary Trust Company in Los Angeles, and a director of the College Futures Foundation, located in San Francisco. Linda is a former board member of The Claremont University Consortium, The Thacher School, and The Pasadena Symphony.
She and her husband are the parents of two adult daughters.
