Linda Davis Taylor’s Biography
Linda Davis Taylor is the CEO and Chairman of Clifford Swan Investment Counselors in Pasadena, California, and a champion for women’s economic independence and strength. She is a frequent speaker on wealth transition, family governance, and philanthropy. Linda wrote ‘The Business of Family’ with an objective to educate families on multi-generational financial sustainability, and the power to affect change that comes with wealth.
Linda became CEO and Chairman of Clifford Swan Investment Counselors in 2010, after serving as President of Philip V. Swan Associates since 2002. Clifford Swan is the nation’s oldest investment advisory firm. In addition to managing the firm, she advises clients on wealth transition, family governance, and philanthropy.
Her prior experience also includes twenty-five years in senior management positions in philanthropy and admissions for several distinguished educational institutions, including Amherst College, Claremont McKenna College, Scripps College and Emory University.
Linda is currently a trustee of Morningstar Funds Trust in Chicago and is a Board Member of Clifford Swan Investment Counselors in Pasadena, CA; San Pasqual Fiduciary Trust Company in Los Angeles, CA; The Huntington in San Marino, California, and is on the Board of Overseers at the College Futures Foundation in San Francisco. She is also a Former Trustee of Scripps College in Claremont, CA (Chair, 2009-2014), The Thacher School, and The Pasadena Symphony.
She and her husband are the parents of two adult daughters.
